Living culture and memory

Residents observe national holidays of the Russian Federation and district celebrations. On 28 and 30 April 2023, the charity concert "We Don't Abandon Our Own!" was held in the villages of Vershinino, Bolshaya Rechka, Novoelovka, and Gordeevka in support of fellow villagers performing military duty in the special military operation zone. In early November, the village celebrates the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, considered the patroness of the village; on this day, a concert is organized at the club for residents, especially as part of the Month of the Elderly. In December 2025, as part of the patriotic campaign "Star of Memory," a star was installed on the house of Anna Ivanovna Vorobyova — the grandmother who raised Nikolai Vorobyov, who died during the special military operation. Local creative groups and clubs operate at the rural club. The prevalent religious tradition is Orthodoxy; the gastronomic culture is represented by Russian cuisine.

The project was carried out with a grant from the Russian Science Foundation No. 26-28-20225
