Historical background
The settlement was founded in 1777 (according to legends of old-timers, in 1770–1771) by Russian peasant farmers. During the Civil War, the village became an arena of fierce battles, and as a result of a punitive action by Kolchak's troops, 31 people died. Soviet power was finally established in the fall of 1919, after which small peasant farms merged into collective farms in the 1920s and 1930s. By 1928, the village was the administrative center and numbered 306 households. A significant contribution to the development of the settlement is made by its leaders, including the head of the rural council V.A. Orlova and medical worker N.A. Kopytova.
