Historical background
Logovskoy is a settlement in Kalman District, Altai Krai, and is part of the Kubansky selsoviet. Its exact date of foundation is unknown; active settlement of similar plots in Kalman District often took place during the Stolypin reforms and subsequent land development in the 20th century. Proximity to the federal highway A-322 Barnaul–Rubtsovsk–border with Kazakhstan is an important factor in its development. The majority of the population are Russians (about 85%).
